I am currently seeking freelance work as an Assistant Editor within the Film/TV, Game, Entertainment or Animation industry. With experience working in multiple NLE systems and as a dual platform user (MAC/PC), I am happy to take on all of your post production needs. My experience in Assistant Editing includes setting up both Avid and Premiere based projects with tight turnarounds, ingesting/transcoding/grouping multi-cam setups for lead editors and acting as DIT and Producer for digital shoots. I pride myself on my detail-oriented nature, desire to learn, as well as my skills as a collaborative team player.

Additional skills include:

• Transcribing/Clipping/Organizing dailies both accurately and in a timely manner

• Syncing/grouping clips within AVID Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, PluralEyes 3

• Transcoding clips within DaVinci Resolve Lite, AVID Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro

• Project organization within AVID Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Filemaker Pro

• Experience utilizing multiple codecs, frame rates, and resolutions

• Multi-cam and Offline/Online Editing

• Color Correction within DaVinci Resolve Lite and AVID Media Composer Symphony

• DCP / QT Creation within Adobe Media Encoder, Compressor, Sorenson Squeeze

• Working days or nights with tight turnarounds

• Avid Certified User, Media Composer Version 8.6
